Rev. Yolanda Gantt
Assistant Pastor
Reverend Yolanda Gantt is a passionate servant-leader whose ministry is rooted in early
devotion and sustained by faithful obedience to God’s call. A native of Mobile, Alabama, she
accepted Christ at an early age and began walking in leadership by age twelve, teaching
Sunday school to her peers and preschoolers. By age fifteen, she discerned a clear call to
ministry and faithfully served as a youth small-group leader in her local church.
In 2008, upon relocating to Northern Virginia, Reverend Gantt and her family joined Spirit of
Faith Christian Center (now known as Faith City Central) in Temple Hills, Maryland. Over the
next decade, she distinguished herself as a committed servant-leader—teaching in New
Partners and Hope Ministries and boldly proclaiming the Gospel through the Sudden Fire Street
Evangelism team. Her theological foundation was strengthened through formal training at Spirit
of Faith Bible Institute, where she was licensed for ministry and graduated in 2017.
In obedience to divine direction, Reverend Gantt transitioned in 2018 to The Rock Christian
Center in Falls Church, Virginia, where she serves with distinction as Assistant Pastor and Chief
Adjutant to Bishop Denise S. Wilson. Her leadership extends beyond the local church as she
currently serves as Third Vice Moderator of the Unity Progressive Baptist Association and as a
Board Member of The Naomi Project International, a mentoring ministry dedicated to equipping
and empowering clergywomen.
Committed to lifelong growth and excellence in ministry, Reverend Gantt is pursuing a Master’s
degree in Biblical and Pastoral Leadership. She resides in Ashburn, Virginia, with her husband,
David, and is the proud mother of two young adults
